2010 Broadway Bucks Return for the Holidays on Broadway in Fair Lawn

Celebrate the Season with Over $1000 in Broadway Bucks Gift Certificates & Prizes from EZ2 Collect Records, CD’s & Movies and Spivak Lighting

Fair Lawn, N.J., December 6, 2010 – The Broadway Improvement Corporation (BIC) wants you to make Fair Lawn’s Broadway Business Improvement District your local destination of choice for holiday shopping and dining.  To provide extra incentive, on January 3, 2011, the BIC will draw ten $50 winners for gift certificates redeemable ONLY at participating Broadway District businesses, plus the winners of valuable prizes donated by EZ2 Collect Records, CD’s & Movies and Spivak Lighting. No purchase is necessary, but you must be 18 years or older to enter. Online entries only must be received by December 31, 2010, and the Broadway Bucks Gift Certificates are valid until February 28, 2011.

Participating Broadway District businesses include AAA North Jersey, Ahren's Hearing Aids, Al’s Auto Repair, Air Voice Verizon Wireless, Best Kitchen, Chicken Galore, Dazzling Dogs, EZ2 Collect, Frame It, Gotham City Diner, JJ Pub and Grill, Nuts for You, Quilly's Gourmet Sliders, Reliance Gold Buyers, Spivak Lighting, Sunny Health Center, The Drug Store and Zap Lube & Car Wash.

Linda Buckbinder of Fair Lawn won Broadway Bucks in the BIC’s fall promotion, and used her gift certificates at Nuts for You on Broadway. Buckbinder had never been to the store before, and the gift certificates gave her a great reason to try it. She said that the store has an amazing assortment of nuts, dried fruit, coffee and other gourmet food specialties that are a great way to treat yourself, and would make great holiday gifts. “The people at Nuts for You were friendly and helpful,” added Buckbinder, “and also very pleased to accept my Broadway Bucks.”

Jack Dawli has owned the store for the past four years, but recently changed the name to Nuts for You.  Since the change, more people are stopping in to try the incredibly fresh nuts that Dawli dry roasts in small batches, plus a wide variety of other specialty and gourmet items from the Mediterranean region. Dawli has redeemed three Broadway Bucks gift certificates so far, and is glad to be a part of the program because it introduces new customers from Fair Lawn and other towns to Nuts for You.
