Planters

November 2005

A total of ten planters were removed from the north side of Broadway and from behind the Adult Daycare Center. I marked them off with caution tape before the crew arrived on Saturday morning.

Some planters were rotted away on the bottom and began to fall apart as soon as we moved them.

I had the crew use a push-cart to lift the planters up off the ground so that they could get a good grip on them. Luckily, it was very cold that morning and the night before so the dirt was frozen...it made it easier to move them without dirt pouring out.
