Litter is starting to accumulate under bushes along Broadway. The suburban crews will be instructed to clear litter and debris this week.
The scene depicted on the left appears to be a shopping cart (from CVS) that perhaps was thrown into the fence along the BONY parking lot...there was damage to the fence as can be seen in the picture. I removed the cart and brought it back to CVS.

32-05 Broadway: Pole/Trash can hit by vehicle
March 2006 - During a weekly visit the crew observed a trash can and NJ Transit bus-stop sign out of place in front of Bob Beshlian's office at 32-05 Broadway. The bus-stop sign was knocked down and laying on Bob's property and the trash can was about 25 ft. away from where it normally is. Bob indicated that a school bus had lost control and swerved into the sign and trash-can. Amazingly, there was very little damage to the trash-can. To resolve the matter we contacted Ron Conte's office who dispatched a road crew to remove the pole. A cone was placed over the stump left by the bus-stop sign and the trash can was returned back into its regular location.
